A few days ago i was in the bath and noticed I had 2 bits of red blood on my fingers I then got out the bath and put a pad on and there was a few bits of blood in the pad then after that no more bleeding but this morning I wiped and noticed a very light/pinkish blood.. is this normal? I am 39+2

Sounds like it could be your show which is completely normal and would make sense for your stage of pregnancy. But for peace of mind you can always call the community midwives and explain to them, they'll have more of an idea :)

Sounds like show but if you're worried call triage/local MLU and keep pads.

Never a wasted call to a mw.
One spot of blood meant I had to have an emcs within 4 hours.

Ring your mw ASAP.

You still need to ring your MW! It could be part of your mucus plug, but still get in contact.

Yes I would also call just to make sure. I assume your baby is moving fine, you don't feel otherwise unwell? I'm sure it'll just be your show but best to check - baby might not be too far away!

keep any pad and show your mw (yeah, gross but they can then see if it's fresh blood/mucus/show). I had the same late preg and dd born following day. good luck!
