Have you had OTC painkillers? I never had pain like that, so think I'd ring a midwife to talk this thru.

Notquiteagandt · 08/11/2018 19:26

I have an anterior placenta so the baby tends to put pressure on my back more. Most days it feels like its going to snap.

Is it like a nerve pain? Crampy pain? Or collicy acid pain?

I am getting the worse acid in my back and heart burn. Feels like being stabbed.

Phone your midwife if you are worrying?

Ring midwife to check

I have a low lying placenta.
And I have taken some paracetamol. But pain is still thier. And baby is really active and kicking like crazy. The pain is like a constant pain just down the right side of my back underneath my rib area.

Any better? Did you ring MW?

PiggyRae · 09/11/2018 08:41

I had this for nearly a week and turned out to be a UTI. Ring midwife and get checked out. Hope you feel better soon.

Mummykaz90 · 09/11/2018 11:43

No no better ladies. I have been up all night tossing and turning from side to side. And up on all fours. Had hot water bottle and paracetamol all night. I don't think I have a uti as theirs no pain when I go for a wee. Or even that horible sensation of needing it but only doing a dribble. But I have midwife at 1.15 today and also booked a doc apt straight after as I know that's what midwife will tell me to do as she can't prescribe anything for it. Baby is still very active and moving and kicking away just fine. Just hoping someone can give me a answer to it what's causing it. I've had to phone work and cancel my 13 hour night shift which I really can't afford to do but theirs no way I can be lifting young people and deep cleaning whilst in pain. I ant even do much for my own children kinda glad my other half is off work to sort then out.
