Foot spa??

OH got me a foot spa yesterday and I used t then Someone told me today you can't use it when pregnant?!

Is this true???

Why couldn't you?

Apparently there are certain points in your foot that bring on contractions? 🙈

If that was true, the NHS would be advising foot spas to overdue mothers before invasive procedures like sweeps and breaking your water, and before drugs.

Another old wives tale. Pamper your feet.

I used to have one and it said on the instructions not to use it if pregnant. I'm not sure how much of that is based on research or if it's just covering themselves though.

Some sources say to avoid massage chairs too. Something to do with the vibrations.

Solicitors would have every pregnant woman wrapped in cotton wool for 9 months so we can't sue anyone if something goes wrong within a month of using their products. Except the solicitors for cotton wool manufacturers, who would definitely like is to stop using cotton wool.

They should all get a foot spa and relax. 😊
