Did you get to hear HB at 12wk scan?

Title says it all really haha. I was shown the hb but never got to listen. Wondered if that usual. Thanks

No, only shown it on scan, didn't hear it. I did at my 16 week midwife appointment, though, but I'm not sure if that is standard across all trusts.

Nope, different piece of equipment to hear it and so didn't hear it at 12 week or 20 week scan. Heard it at 16 week midwife appointment but afaik it's dependent on trust as still may not be heard then clearly

Surprised about this, I live in Spain and could both see and hear it at my 12 week scan on the normal ultrasound machine. I also heard it at 8 weeks at a private scan but that was using a very fancy machine at a clinic.

No. Just saw it. Then heard 1st time via doppler at 16w midwife appointment. Although was told alot of trusts dont do that anymore. So unsure when they get to hear?

Although I think I did hear the heartbeat during my scans when I was pregnant with DD just 3 years ago?

My trust don’t listen on the scan but do measure it. The midwife listens from 24 weeks here with a Doppler. Heard it at a private 9 & 11 week scan then again at 16 weeks privately.

I only seen the heartbeat never got to hear it at the 12 week scan! It wasn't until I booked the private gender scan that I heard it at 18 weeks! Then had my 20 week scan and still didn't get to listen just seen it again..

I heard it at 7+4 or something but that was private scan - no NHS here.
