Anyone been pregnant with breast implants?

I got breast implants almost 2 years ago now under the muscle, I asked about breast feeding before my op and was told there shouldn't be any reason why I wouldn't be able to but just wondering if anyone else has any experiences to share with me? Don't want to get my hopes up that I will be able to.

Also I have had sore boobs since before my bfp, I am 14 weeks now and they are still as sore as ever I wonder if this is because of my breast implants? It is mainly the side near my arm pit that hurts and that's where they hurt the most after getting them done.

I also can't believe how much bigger they are getting and really hoping they will go back to normal!!

If anyone has gone through pregnancy with breast implants or if anyone has any friends or family that have I would love to hear your stories 😁

The soreness isn’t necessarily because of the breast implants - I was in agony with my boobs from a week before my period arrived and it looked like I had breast implants (I don’t!). Turned out I was having twins so extra hormones meant insanely painful boobs and it lasted a few months. I bought some yoga crop tops from No Balls which were really comfy and really helped.

My friend has had 7 children and has breastfed them all successfully with implants she had before she had the children. I would however talk to someone about your pain though.

I'm currently 21 weeks pregnant with 12 year old submuscular implants but almost certainly can't breastfeed sadly because the implants were to correct major hypoplasia. Booo 😔 they've done absolutely fuck all all pregnancy. Urgh. Best of luck to you. If they were purely cosmetic rather than corrective, and the placement is good without major tissue damage, you should be fine I think.

Yes I've had 3 pregnancies and breastfed all 3 with implants.

If that's where it hurt most after you had them done, you could have scar tissue there, under the skin even if you can't see it. As your hormones make your breasts grow, it could be putting pressure on the scar, hence most of the pain being there.

Painful breasts are so normal in pregnancy, so almost certainly nothing to worry about. Always worth checking though.
