Hi all. I’ve been getting increasing bh contractions for a few weeks and last night my back started cramping. This morning I went to wipe myself and lost a massive piece of discharge (sorry if tmi) it was like jelly and yellow coloured. Since then I’ve had a really sore back, the odd cramp down my tummy and legs and feel sick. Is this false labour? I had a quick labour first time round and need to sort child care if anything happens but I don’t know if I’m being over cautious?

It doesn't sound false, it sounds like possible early labour.

It can stop/start though. Call triage and get their advice.

Good luck!! Flowers

I’ve been for a walk round the shops Blush and now my back is really hurting. Going to wait another few hours and call triage if the pain doesn’t subside. I’m sorted for chile care now, so I can go in any time! Thanks for your reply!!

Sounds like it could be early labour, maybe try and sort childcare just incase x

JellycatElfie · 06/11/2018 16:21

I’m sorted for childcare for the next week or so, and after sitting down the pains have gone much easier. I have a lot of pressure through my bum and between my legs and my back is still aching a bit - this happened first time round but later on so hoping this is the beginning of things going the right way!

Still got back ache, feel really weird and unsettled, achy and just not myself. Hope this doesn’t go in for weeks!

defo doesn't sound false

how many weeks are you?

good luck!

JellycatElfie · 07/11/2018 08:13

Thanks! I’m 37 and 5.

I’ve also noticed my pants are quite wet. This was after I’d been to the loo so now I’m not sure if I’m leaking urine, amniotic fluid or it’s just discharge? Sorry again for the tmi.

Ring triage for advice, could be your waters leaking but could be just weak pelvic floor! Good luck

JellycatElfie · 07/11/2018 09:17

Thanks. I’ve phoned the midwife and she’s seeing me at 4pm. I feel really stupid. This is my second pregnancy and I’m supposed to know what I’m doing!!

Get yourself checked. X

worriedgem · 07/11/2018 10:12

Glad you're getting yourself checked OP. How all goes smoothly.

JellycatElfie · 07/11/2018 10:36

Thank you! I keep having jabbing pains down where I assume my cervix is as t feels like a more painful smear test! Blush I feel so silly. I thought second time moms knew what to expect! I’ll report back here later x

How have you got on OP?

JellycatElfie · 07/11/2018 17:19

The head is engaged and she thinks it’s probably just my body gearing up towards labour. Just watch and wait I suppose.
