Stopping cyclogest- cramping

Hi mums,

I've been on cyclogest progesterone suppositories 400mg and aspirin 75mg once a day since BFP and advised by doc to stop cold turkey at 16 weeks.

Yesterday I had my 16 week antenatal appt and heartbeat confirmed. Last night was the first night I stopped cyclogest and now this morning experiencing mild cramping (when I haven't had any cramping lately at all)

Anyone had similar experience? I know cramping could be coincidence but can't help but wonder..

When I took cyclogest till 16 weeks I reduced slowly before stopping. Think every other day for a week then every two days for a week then stopped I think x

I have been winding down on cyclogest since 12 weeks (now 12+5) and definitely feel like I have had more cramping. It’s really worrying isn’t it? I would prefer to stay on it for 9 months, despite it being unpleasant!

How are you getting on now op?

I've just stopped it completely! Had that episode of mild cramping for an hour but since seems normal... so nerve-wracking 😓
