Conception date help!

Hi all,
Please don’t judge as I tell my story i need help. I have just found out I’m pregnant LMP 5th Oct cycle 27 days. I had unprotected sex with my husband on 13,16,17th Oct but I had sex with an old fling on 19th using a condom it popped and he withdrew immediately he didn’t ejaculate and only lasted minutes. I’m a wreck with worry who the father is, my story isn’t the best and I don’t want any nasty comments but everyone makes mistakes (following an argument) Is there any chance the baby could be the other mans?

Oh god, this is tricky :( I would guess that you ovulated on the 18th so it could go either way.

I would say that it’s more likely to be your husband’s though as he actually ejaculated whereas your old fling didn’t.

Do you know your average cycle length? Might throw some light on it.

Average cycle 27 days- periods before were 26 27 and 25 days online says average of 27

So hard to know with those dates, but agree with PP more likely to be your H under those circumstances.

So if your average cycle is 27 days then you should ovulate on or around cycle day 13, so the 17th Oct. Of course it can't be guaranteed, and those dates are tight, The fact you used a condom is a little reassuring, I know it broke but it would still have prevented some sperm getting in. The only war to really know is a paternity test. Have you ever had a 28 day or more cycle?

Unfortunately with dates so close a paternity test is needed for you to know 100%.
I wouldn't want to risk someone bringing up a child that isn't theirs.

That’s what I had worked out 17th for ovulation using an app. The only long period was the first cycle from stopping the pill. The rest were as detailed above

So it would be more likely you ovulated on the 17th or 18th but impossible to confirm x

Seems the dates are too close to work this out I’m gutted and so angry at myself. Currently assessing my options

I would say there’s more chance it’s your husband’s but the only way to know for sure is a DNA test, sorry.

Thank you for your replies. I don’t think I can do anything without it taking a big risk of going through with the pregnancy for it not to be my husbands. I’m in such a bad place the scan won’t help so I feel lost
