I know this may sound really stupid but I can't help cleaning everything. The baby has got a few clothes already and I really just want to wash them but I'm only 16+5 😂
Anyone else got the urge to clean everything this early or is it just Me? Lol I mean I thought this was meant to happen more towards the end lol

I'm 21 weeks and spent the whole of last night cleaning and reorganising my kitchen "to make it nice for when the baby is here"... As if the baby is going to give a flying fuck what my kitchen is like hahaha. Nesting is weird :-/

@Spooples haha I've had to stop myself at times and think 'okay just chill'
Weird how I feel like this so early on though lol

I'm a nesting nightmare at the moment.
The smell of bleach is better than anything else I can imagine right now. Not the best smell to love during pregnancy!

In my last pregnancy I didn't start nesting until at least 30 weeks.

I'm 25 weeks now, but have been nesting for weeks!

Do the washing! I've left it til thr last minute and it's all I'm doing Sad

Lumisade · 05/11/2018 06:34

I've been labelling all of our shelves and cupboards because my husband struggles to find things on his own for some reason. I'm at 35 +6 and am frantically washing baby clothes. Definitely do it now Unicorn!

@Unicorn234 I think I was about 16 weeks when the urge to nest first started. I used my energy to clean bits of the house I don’t think I’d ever cleaned before like inside kitchen cupboards etc. I’m now 27+4 and having to fight the urge to wash baby clothes and do too much cleaning because I want to have something to look forward to when I start my maternity leave! It’s so hard though 😂.

Monipop84 · 05/11/2018 08:24

I am 17 weeks and last weekend I picked up the nursery wall paint, chose a pram and the nursery furniture. Maybe I am nesting too ;)

Queenofhearts3 · 05/11/2018 08:48

I’m 38+6 and have nested and batch cooked so much I now have nothing to do!! Try and save some for when your maternity leave starts! I’m tempted to just start all over again haha!

MonkeyToucher · 05/11/2018 12:44

I’d definitely advocate nesting “as you go along...”

With DS I was saving loads of stuff for maternity leave. Stopped work at 38 weeks and then ended up spending nearly a week in hospital due to high blood pressure then he arrived at 39+2 so I got 0 washing/batch cooking done!

23 weeks with DC2 and this time I’m washing clothes as I get them so at least bits are done! Started packing my hospital bag too so at least I feel a bit on top of things...

Lol I'm glad I'm not the only one then haha.
I've been cleaning out my cupboards, sorting out my saucepans 😂 and I've even washed the doors down.
However I have started following 'Mrs hinch' on Instagram (you must of all heard about her) and i think she makes me worse 😂
