Bleeding...

Hi guys

So i started bleeding yesterday. I am around 2 weeks past conception. I went to emergency gyno and they did an internal and said it appeared to be old blood but would book me in for an internal scan for a couple of days. Now today i have bled a little buy nothing has really gone on the pad and it mainly been when i have been wiping after having a wee. They bloody was red yesterday and more darker red/brown today. Any advice?

Just wait. Once I had a bit of bleeding and had lost the baby. With DD I had a bit of bleeding again and she was fine. Honestly there is no telling until you have had the scan. I really feel for you

I think you just have to wait it out. Light bleeding in early pregnancy isn't unusual. Sometimes it turns into something, sometimes it doesn't. Try to rest and look after yourself, I hope you get good news at your scan.

I bled in my first pregnancy at the level you describe and it was fine - DD now a healthy 7yo. I had an early miscarriage earlier this year and the bleeding turned period-like pretty quickly.

Thank you for your advice.. i know there isn't really any more advice anyone can offer. Just very scared at they moment x

I had quite heavy bright red bleeding at 6 weeks with clots. When I googled it it fitted the description of a miscarriage to a tee. I saw the GP and they said i'd almost definitely miscarried but they couldn't/wouldn't run any tests to find out. They just told me to keep doing pregnancy tests and if it was still positive to wait for the 12 week scan. Those 6 weeks were incredibly stressful and upsetting and i hate to think of the stress i put baby through because everything was fine at the 12 week scan, little heartbeat going strong. You won't get much help from the doctors at this stage so all you can do is wait and retest (they recommended i waited 10 days before retesting). But don't lose hope. I hope it all works out ok.
