When did you dig out your maternity clothes for your 2nd?

10 weeks pregnant with number 2 & I kid you not think I need the old stretchy jeans out asap. My jeans will not button up! None of them! I'm living in leggings & long tops already. When did you start to show with #2?

Started to show properly at 16 weeks and had to wear maternity clothes from 17 weeks.

16-17 weeks. Before that I just wore comfy stretchy normal clothes.

Jeans were out early, 10-12 weeks. Rest of the maternity wardrobe was in full use by 18 weeks. Second pregnancy was all tummy and bump so a lot of stretchy skirts and maternity jeans from quite early on. First pregnancy I didn't touch maternity clothes until 25 ish weeks but my gain was more all over with a much smaller bump until the final weeks.

I was wearing my maternity jeans at 12 weeks but I think it was mostly bloat then. Muscles weren't as tight as with first. 17+4 and I've just officially popped an official baby bump. This baby is all out in front. Just do whatever is most comfortable for you. Congrats!

I was in my maternity trousers at 10 weeks with my second. In maternity tops/dresses by about 15 weeks. Now 27 weeks and feel as big as I did at full term with my first!

Jeans from about 8 weeks, I don’t think my mat clothes will last until the end as I’m as big as I was 10 weeks ahead with my first.

I am freaking out a bit at how big I'm going to get when it's this bad at 10 weeks! Surely it'll balance out!!

Jeans 2 weeks before I was due wS wearing dresses this time as a summer pregnancy rather than winter. So I had a few maternity dresses from about 26 weeks I think. I do have small babies though

I’m 20 weeks with my second and still in my jeans. My work trousers are getting a bit tight so have just bought a size up to last me a few more weeks until I need the maternity ones. I didn’t show until very late on with my first.

I was thinking about this OP too! Also, how on earth are we meant to hide it with baby #2s? Feels like I'm gonna have to tell work after 12 week scan rather than after the 20 like last time

20 weeks with DC1 and even then it felt a bit unnecessary.

Around 10 weeks with DC2 and it was very necessary!

I was in maternity jeans by 11 weeks

14 weeks for maternity clothes but was wearing flowy and loose tops from 12 weeks as I was very bloated compared to my usual build

I’m 12 weeks with my second. Maternity clothes would look a bit ridiculous at this stage however but my normal clothes are uncomfortable and tight so I’m in that awkward inbetween stage and I’d forgotten how awful this bit is!

Weirdly with my second I didn’t have the in between stage- I just looked pregnant immediately.

I was in maternity jeans at 9-10 weeks with my first, and I am not a big lady! Just petite and was wearing a size 6 before, the bloat was veeery noticeable!

I got my jeans out at 8 weeks. Why battle when you already have them?

I'm 17weeks and still in all my normal clothes. Can't remember when I started wearing maternity with ds and he's only 13months so I feel like I should remember! Wondering when to get them out so this is interesting.
