Only sick on a Saturday

So I'm currently 9 weeks pregnant, and for the past 3 weeks, I only actually throw up on a Saturday. Last week I had no nausea at all during the week, but first thing this morning I felt nauseous and then threw up. Does anyone else just get sick one day a week? I just find it so weird! I'm currently 9 weeks pregnant.

Tiredness made mine worse so could it be you are just wrecked from the week, then recoup again? Just a guess! These things often have no rhyme or reason!

Bobbiepin · 03/11/2018 20:33

My sickness was worse on a Monday. Used to joke that baby hated work.

Lookingforadvice123 · 03/11/2018 20:33

I had all day nausea from 5 weeks but I was mainly sick on Tuesdays, it was really weird!

FrazzyAndFrumpled · 03/11/2018 20:34

Allergic to the weekend! Wink Hope it passes soon Flowers

I’m only 6+2 at the moment with twins, and I’m finding that while I have horrible nausea almost all of the the time, I only actually throw up every third or fourth day - weird.

Do you have breakfast later on a Saturday than you do during the week? (I found my sickness was worse if I got hungry when I was last pregnant)

Pebblespony · 03/11/2018 20:37

Is your routine different. Different breakfast, timing of breakfast? Maybe try to keep things the same as a weekday and see of it helps.

woolster · 03/11/2018 20:38

What do you eat on a Friday night? I had that Saturday thing later on in first pregnancy. Was eating pizza on Friday night- takes a long time for fat to drain from stomach when pregnant. Had soup on Saturday and was sick. Regular occurrence before I worked out the pattern.

Aventurine · 03/11/2018 20:39

Hunger causes it so i too wondered if you ate later

Fraula · 03/11/2018 20:42

Stress makes it worse too.

Iswallowtoothpaste · 03/11/2018 20:46

How bizarre! Perhaps you’re extra worn out on a Saturday?!

I have a little routine on a morning, I wake up, feel a bit sick, lay in bed or a while till it passes. Get up, suddenly start retching, run to the toilet, fetch up bile - this tends to happen most days. I then just feel sick on and off throughout the day. I’ve only ever been sick on a morning.

Thank you for all the replies, really appreciate it!
I thought it could have been a routine thing, but today I was up at normal work time with a normal routine and still threw up!
@woolster I did have pizza yesterday, and honestly cannot remember the previous weeks - I will take note of that and make sure I have something healthier next Friday and see what Saturday is like!
@FrazzyAndFrumpled it feels that way at the moment!! Confused

@Fraula I'm definitely stressed during the week at work, so maybe it's the more relaxed feeling on a Saturday!
@Acitywallandatrampoline that does make sense! I'm shattered by the weekend!
@Iswallowtoothpaste have you found anything that helps the sickness and nausea? How long have you had the sickness for?

@Helenlucy, not really but it’s not horrific, it’s fairly mild to be fair. Not pleasant but manageable. It feels a bit like when you’re so hungry you feel sick but you could’ve just eaten 10 minutes since. I’m also having a lot of food aversions and my appetite has pretty much halved!

Anything that smells lemony or minty makes me feel a bit better.

I’ve been retching on a morning since before I had a positive test so from around 4 weeks, however, it was very sporadic at this point and didn’t really ramp up until 7 weeks.
