Constant braxton hicks?

I've got braxton hiks throughout the day, my midwife told me not to worry but I really have them quite often. I'm 36 weeks and they've been going on for a month or so, getting stronger and more frequent. They're not painful but my whole belly goes tight and hard. I get them with just about everything I do, walking, stairs, bending, lifting. I'm still working and had them practically all day, is it bad for my baby?

Anyone else had this? Does it mean my baby's coming soon?

I had them all the way through both pregnancies. One came at 37 weeks, one at 38 weeks. I don't think it was related. Some people just notice them more than others. Mine were worse if I was doing too much or dehydrated. So, I did see it as an indicator that I needed to stop and slow down.

I had then constantly from 12 weeks. My babies were all 2 weeks late
