37 weeks, brown discharge and contractions

Hi there,

I'm 37 weeks today and have been having contractions since yesterday. Painful, but manageable. At most 1 in 10 minutes, if more frequently they never settle to a pattern.

Twice today I've had some brownish discharged when I've wiped. And I'm starting to wonder if things are ramping up? I'm good to go apart from childcare.

What do you reckon. Hold off and see if contractions regulate?

I’d ring the hospital and ask what they’d advise. I’m sure they’ll say sit tight and wait and see but best to be safe than sorry! Good luck!
