Natural induction

Hi,
After having quite a funny conversation with a work colleague regarding natural induction, I was wondering what others have tried. She used caster oil with orange juice with her 3rd baby and it worked so well that within 2 hours she was having contractions! However this was after having severe diarrhoea haha. I’m not looking to induce as I’m only 37 weeks and I’ve heard most of natural ways don’t work so I’m continuing to use my birthing ball to help gravity move baby down. I’m just intrigued by people’s stories.

OMG I'm 39 weeks and for the past week tried everything including sex, walking, pineapple juice, even inserting primrose oil tablets vaginally!😂 nothing seems to work at all. I haven't tried the castor oil I've heard horrible stories about it! I even tried bathing in and rubbing clary sage oil on my bump. I'm booked tomorrow for acupuncture to help induce labour. But honestly I've wasted so much money in the past week and nothing at all helps. 😭 baby will come when baby wants I think xx

Yeah I think the baby will refuse to come when you try all these different tricks. It just sounds from people I’ve spoken to that having diarrhoea seems to start the contractions but it doesn’t seem very appealing. One mum I know used a TENS machine and within a few hours starting having contractions. Not cheap though!
