Just found out in 4 weeks pregnant with my 2nd rainbow baby. Was pregnant with 1st in August and unfortunately miscarried. Finding it hard to believe I am again and finding it hard to be positive! :(

@Delilah7 yay!!! So pleased! I’ve been thinking about you!

How is everyone feeling this week? That's me 7 weeks (according to Ovia) and I'm really starting to feel nauseous. Thankfully it's not putting me off food yet, I ate a tonne of pasta yesterday because I felt hungover and that's one of my go to cures 🙈

Delilah7 · 26/11/2018 08:44

@ContadoraExplorer hey Hun. I'm 7 weeks 6 days and morning sickness this weekend is kicking my arse!! Doesn't always happen in morning tho 😂

I feel awful today - I’ve been in bed for about 2 days with an upset stomach which I feared came on from a glass of champagne I had at a wedding on the weekend. Or the food! Or it’s the start of morning sickness I have no idea. Can’t actually believe I’ll be 9 weeks this week and I’ve decided to have a second private scan on Saturday. I just can’t get in my head that everything is ok. I asked my midwife friend if it’s massively OTT and she didn’t seem to think it was...!
On happier note I got my pack through the post today confirming my booking in appointment with the midwife next week, and my 12 weeker is the 20th Dec. Would be amazing to share the news at Christmas but I don’t feel I can get remotely excited about anything. I’m literally waiting for the rug to be pulled under my feet again. I’ve decided early pregnancy is the worst!

Hi everyone! I wonder if anyone could help me?

I am TTC baby #1 and I am currently cycle number 5 of TTC, but I am not sure that me and my partner are timing BD properly.

Here is a run down of our efforts so far this cycle and it’d be really helpful if you guys could tell me what you think my chances of conceiving are and when I should take my first HCG test! My cycles are usually 28 days on average and luckily I am like clockwork.

We did BD on CD13 and then on CD14 (late evening) I noticed my usual back pain and EWCM to indicate ovulation (yay). On CD15 I test positive for LH (test line darker than control line). However, we could not BD on CD14 or CD15 as He had to work away :(

We did BD on CD16 but I tested negative for LH on this day.

I am currently CD17 today and AF is due 4/12/18.

Any advice or thoughts please?? Thank you :)

MrsC87 · 26/11/2018 19:29

@BBLLFF try and just regularly have sex every 2-3 days. The month I conceived I dtd 3 times in the FW and none of those were on the positive opk day.
Do you regularly ovulate on cd15?

jaykaydee · 26/11/2018 19:47

Can't believe it's a week since we found out. Tiredness has set in now and having some strange pulling pains. No nausea yet.

@BBLLFF the funny thing is for months we followed all the rules as it were and nothing. Then this month were so tired and despondent we only managed it once in FW and that was 2 days before suspected ovulation yet this was the month I got a BFP!

BBLLFF · 26/11/2018 21:52

That’s quite reassuring to hear then, we will still try every few days though thanks! I ovulated on CD20 in my last cycle so pretty late for me, but the cycle before that was CD16!

How many weeks are you?:D

OMG! OMG OMG! Complete shock pregnancy over here. I have 2 DC (girls ages 7 and 4). I had the mirena removed last month and was due to start the pill when my period appeared. I had a bit of spotting a couple of days after the mirena was removed and have been waiting for AF ever since. I've had sore boobs for a few days and was getting worried that my period never arrived but I was feeling a dull ache I remember having when pg with DC1 & 2 . It suddenly dawned on me that I was pregnant. I dashed out to the supermarket after dinner (feeling quite queasy) with the excuse of needing to buy light bulbs. I just did the test and there is a light red line. Quite faint so it must be early on.
I'm in shock! I don't know what to tell DH. He was never keen on trying for a 3rd child. I was always torn. I would like another child but I worry about finances and stuff. I've literally started a new job at the beginning of the month, so timing is awful in that respect, but DH has just gotten promoted at work so finances may not be such an issue.
How am I going to tell DH??? I'm not good at keeping secrets, but I just don't know what to tell him! Funnily enough my little one wrote a letter to santa today asking for a baby...or twins...or triplets!!!!

BBLLFF · 26/11/2018 21:53

It’s definitely reassuring to hear that you also BD on two days before ovulation and got your BFP - congratulations!!!!

Delilah7 · 27/11/2018 08:43

Can I ask you guys something? I've been sick multiple times each day from Friday. Finally took the day off work today and my boss is blunt as fuck about it. They know I'm pregnant yet it's always a worse reaction when I'm unwell than anyone else... can they physically do anything? I've only had today off so far and I'm 8 weeks today. But sickness is really really kicking in and ramping up!

OP posts:
ContadoraExplorer · 27/11/2018 08:53

Sorry, got a bit busy with work yesterday and was too knackered to do anything last night. I think the morning sickness is a good sign, despite how crap we're all feeling just now!

@delilah7 I don't think they can do anything but if you're worried, give ACAS a call for free advice. 0300 123 1100 x
