Pregnant in Ely - which hospital

Hi,

I'm moving from Cambridge to Ely next year and also hope to try for baby #2 next year. Do you know which hospital I would give birth in if I lived in central Ely?

Thanks!

Can you easily get to the Rosie at addenbrokes- that would be my first choice. Otherwise I think it's kings Lynn, hinchingbrooke?

Or hinchingbrooke

@kmreeve I'm 40 mins from the Rosie (with no traffic), probably similar ish from Hitchinbrook. Feels like so far away incase of an emergency!

I'm in March, so not too to far from Ely and I'm booked in at Hinchingbrooke- it's 40 mins from me to but it's my closet. I would love to give birth at the Rosie suit though, more pools etc- there is only one at hinchingbrooke so it's a first come first served basis.

My midwife thinks I'd be ok to homebirth ( not my first baby) but like you, 40 mins is a bit of risk should somethings arises ..
