I don’t have any pregnancy tests at the moment (try not to keep them in the house). So I used an ovulation test and there was a second line. The picture isn’t great but I could devastate see a second line after I did the test.

I’m gonna wait a few days before I do a pregnancy test even though I am a day late. Anyone else experience this? Much appreciated x

I have no idea about using OPK as a pregnancy test but I can definitely see that second line :)

That's a negative opk. Both lines need to be the same darkness (or the test line can be darker).

Opks shouldn't be used as pregnancy tests anyway as many women get an lh surge just before their period starts...

When I got pregnant with DD my cycles were all over the place so I was using ovulation test to see if I was ovulating. After two ovulation test came back with very strong positives ( both lines equally dark) I got a feeling it wasn't ovulation that was being picked up.

When pregnant my ovulation test showed a very strong positive. That’s a negative OPK so I wouldn’t say it’s positive for pregnancy.

There have been a few threads like this in the past, and when opks have been used as pregnancy tests they seem to have blazing strong positives!

That’s not to say that you aren’t pregnant, it that opk isn’t indicating it. The only way is to do a proper pregnancy test unfortunately!

Hi OP. I don’t think you can reliably use OPKs as a pregnancy test. They are to detect the LH in your urine which can be present all the time. I always had a faint line even at my less fertile stage of the month.
Out of curiosity I did test using an OPK when I found out I was pregnancy and the line was very very strong. That was on the day of my missed period. Do a pregnancy test to be sure xx
