21 weeks- stopped feeling movement- anterior placenta

Found out at my 20 week scan I have anterior placenta. That was last Wednesday. I wondered why I’d felt no movement. But then Thursday- Monday I started feeling the odd wiggle. However since Monday I’ve not really felt anything! I was told not to worry about regular movement until later on. Has anyone else experienced similar? I’m assuming she’s maybe just moved position to where it’s hard to feel?

I was in same position, now ar 27 weeks. Only felt movement every day (albeit irregular) around 24 weeks and even now I have quieter days. I wouldnt worry - having an anterior placenta is the worst, but only for the mama! Confused

I’m 20 weeks and also have an anterior placenta. Like you I have also been panicking because the wriggling and fluttery feeling had become more and more frequent and then suddenly stopped. I don’t think it’s anything to worry about but if it continues might be worth phoning your midwife for some reassurance. X

It is stop/start when you first begin to feel them.

I would feel them every other day at 20ish weeks and I didn't have an anterior placenta.

Thanks for your replies. I had anterior with my son a few years back but he was my first and I suppose I worried less! After 2 miscarriages you over think everything!!! I’ll try and stop
Worrying if I’m not on my own. Might book in for a chat with my midwife next week to calm my
Nerves x

Hey I’m in same position...had down flutters before 20 week scan and found out then that I have an anterior placenta but since then have hardly felt him move. Not sure when to contact midwife!?

How long since you felt a flutter? I started getting some more movement a day or so after posting this, I’m feeling quite a bit daily now. Follow your gut, if you’re worried ring your midwife right away. I was told not to worry about regular movements until 28 weeks, but if you feel something isn’t right just speak to your midwife for reassurance, don’t delay xx
