Early pregnancy tests

Can anyone recommend which is the best early pregnancy test? I know they’re not as accurate but I want to test a day before AF is due (I want to be prepared as I’m out the next day with family so don’t want the disappointment if AF arrives). There are so many brands and reviews are so mixed! TIA

But to be honest I'm yet to find a test that has never given a false faint line at one time or another.

The First Response is quick, clear and early though and tends to be the most reliable.

Avoid blue dye tests and Superdrug tests. Both are almost guaranteed to give you lines whether you are pregnant or not.

A Poundland test gave me quite an obvious positive the day before AF due. Never did a first response as the Poundland was so accurate

I've never had and early test work. With both babies I tested with loads of different tests from up to 5 days before as per the instructions and I never got a positive until 1 day after AF due.

But baby doesn't feed from you during the early stage so it won't hurt if you go out and have a drink.
