looks like youll get lots of support with that too! which you need if your going to use it alot

mrsharrypotter · 17/06/2007 19:57

Tomy Freestyle is very nasty, the clip bit digs into your tummy and hurts like hell, you have to hold lo's bottom the whole time so that you don't pass out. SIL got a wonderful sling that does all sorts of things and really doesn't hurt.

CristinaTheAstonishing · 17/06/2007 20:00

My vote would go for a Wilkinet too but I never had a Baby Bjorn to compare with. I really like ring or puch slings for a tiny baby.

kiskidee · 17/06/2007 20:12

they are both rubbish compared to wrap slings, ring slings and pouch slings. search these in the 'products' threads in MN and google to see what i mean.

mum2fred · 18/06/2007 11:39

dont know about the other one but i had the bjorn. i didnt get one with back support which i think would have been a good idea. that being said we use it ALL the time, take 6mo DS to the market and face him outwards nad he kicks and squeals at everyone around. wonderful fun for him.

TooTicky · 18/06/2007 11:47

www.betterbabysling.co.uk The best there is.

I had a Tomy and hated it as it was so unconfortable. I loved my Baby Bjorn.

fannyannie · 18/06/2007 11:50

I had the Bjorn for DS1 - and hardly used it - just never 'worked' for me. Got the Tomy Freestyle for DS3 and love it..

Gingerbear · 18/06/2007 11:51

Coorie - a fleece pouch sling - dead easy to use, DS (1 month old) loves it!

Don't want to sound too negative, but i found my back really wasn't up to a pouch at all, could only use it for about 10 minutes, dh used it about 2 times and so did I.

I had a bjorn which was kindly lent and quite comfortable, although so glad i didn't fork out for one. Yes try ebay for a saving.
