Flu jab before C-Section?

I know that the flu jab doesn't give you flu and isn't a live vaccine, but I'm booked in for a section on Monday, my GP surgery have a clinic tomorrow for the the flu jab, would you risk it or wait until baby is here? I don't recall any side effects last time I had it.

I would have it. Flu is not something I would want when postnatal/post-op and caring for a newborn!

It takes a couple of weeks for the jab to take full effect.

I'd get it done ASAP, because it'll be all too easy to forget to get it done in s postnatal haze, and before you know where you are it'll be January and you'll still be unprotected.
