Hi ive had a previous account on mumsnet (keanukhalessi123) but forgot the details so had to make a new one
Been TTC for 8 months and today took two pregnancy tests which have come both positive!
Im absolutely over the moon!
But just wondering if anyone has had the same problem that i'm going to explain now,
For about a week now i've had like a stabbing pain in my pelvis area, ive looked it up and it just says it could be due to everything stretching and getting ready for the baby, but i can't help but worry, has anyone else had this pain? How long will it last? Also is it okay to take paracemol? It might sound a bit silly these questions but ive never been pregnant before so im not sure on certain things... thanks

The pains (if they're like period pains) are completely normal as long s there's no bleeding, and yes, paraceetamol is safe to safe in pregnancy.

Congratulations! Flowers

When I forgot my log in details I made a new account as well.
Then randomly after two years MN banned me. It turned out that it was an automatic ban for making multiple accounts (it's troll territory). They looked up my posting history, saw I was genuine and reinstated me and deleted my own account.

Anyway, message MNHQ now so they can delete your old accounts to save you the hassle of being banned.

Huge congratulations on your BFP.

Congratulations!! It's the best feeling in the world especially when you've been trying!

I remember getting really sore cramps in the first few days after finding out & was worried my period was about to come on but it never did. My lower back was really sore too from what I can remember so take it easy! I think it must be all the stretching even that early on! I've not had pains as sore since tbh & I'm 28+4 today!!

Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy xx

I have only very recently got BFP too!! Congratulations!! I have had stabbing like sensations also in the pelvic area.. not uncommon to cramp but not lasting as long if that makes sense. I've also had very sore boobs also like PMS symptoms!!!

With both my pregnancies I had a stabbing pain either side of my pelvis. So knew I’d conceived even before taking a test as never get those pains otherwise.
I worried about ectopic etc because of them but it is perfectly normal to have them. As long as they are not cramping period pains with blood.
It is just your body stretching and apparently sometimes it can even be from the eggnimolanted into the wall of the uterus.
Anyway, congratulations.
But if the pains get severe and consistently in one side then do call your doctor or EPU x

Eggnimolanted!!! Goodness me. My iPhone has a language I’ve never even heard off.
