Hi, I'm just over 7 weeks pregnant after 4 miscarriages in a row. Age 43 now, and had my daughter when I was 40.
I had a scan last week at 6 weeks 2 days and all looked fine, heartbeat and measuring spot on for dates. I'm on heparin, aspirin and cyclogest. I've had nausea since about 4 1/2 weeks. Over the weekend the nausea seems to have faded and I've had mild period pain type cramps.
Very worried given my history that his is heading for another miscarriage...
Anybody got any positive stories in a similar situation?

@24deedee I can only say that I'm in a similar position. I'm 7weeks +3 I haven't had any symptoms apart from being very tired and I've started getting light cramps. On Sat night when going to sleep I had terrible cramps and diarrhea (sorry tmi) but no bleeding and the bad cramps passed after a few hours and now just the light period pain like cramps. It's possibly ligament pains which is common at this stage plus I've heard lots of ladies say that their symptoms come and go so try to stay positive. Are you having an early scan given your history?

Sorry just saw you've had a scan. When is your next one?

Hopefully it's just things growing and moving around... have you got a scan booked? I've got another scan booked for next Monday when I should be just over 8 weeks ( I'm under the recurrent miscarriage clinic so get regular scans at EPU)
Am hoping it's just constipation or general aches but really don't have a good feeling about it... period type pains have now become more like back pains, have taken 2 paracetamol :-(

No reassuring story my side (yet!) but in the past EPU have told me numerous times that, as long as there's no bleeding, the cramps are just a symptom of things stretching and rearranging themselves. Of course that doesn't help with obsessive knicker-watching! Hope the pains ease soon.

Hopefully that's what it is!

I've had one MMC at 11 weeks (baby passed at 8/9 weeks) and a CP the cycle before I conceived so not entitled to early scans in NHS but I have booked a private scan on 11/11. I'll be 9+2 then. I have a NIPT scan on 22/11 and then usual 12 week scan on 3 dec so will feel much better once I've had my first scan.

Fingers crossed it is all the stretching and usual pains. Pregnancy is a very different experience after an MC :-(.

It sure is.... constant worry and anxiety (and knicker checking!) hope your scan goes ok... and the time passes quick til then..
after lying down for a bit and a hot shower the pain seems to have eased a lot
