So just started to pack my hospital bag tonight and can't remember from 2 years ago what all I need
Any helpful reminders?

So far I have

Black towels
Boots thick maternity pads
3 cheap nightdresses
1 bathrobe
Black pants
Disposable pants
2 babygrows/vests in first born size
2 babygrows/vests in 1-3 months (its supposedly a big baby)
Hats/gloves/bibs
Comfy feeding bra (need another one?)

Still to add
Snacks/drinks
Nappies
Baby towel? Do I need this? I seem to remember it being weeks before I bathed first one
Wipes
Breast pads

Feel like I'm missing loads!

You won't need a towel for the baby, they shouldn't bath until their cord has dropped off.

The only I would add are toiletries and a phone charger, otherwise it sounds like your all prepped.

Best of luck!

Seems like you've got everything covered.
Maybe some magazines, books or a tablet for yourself or your OH incase of a long labour. It can get pretty boring when not much is happening.
Im having two bags, one that comes with us and one that goes in the boot of the car incase we have a long stay. My last birth we was in for 5 days and I regretted not having spare things in the car or ready at home to be picked up.

Toiletries for you? Toothpaste/toothbrush, shower gel? A flannel for washing and/or cool compress?
Hairbrush?

Clean clothes for yourself (and a bag for dirty)
Hand held fan?
Bottle with straw
Lip balm (gas & air apparently ruins your lips?)

Stuff for your birthing partner?

100% lip balm, even if you dont use gas and air you'll still need it!

Also toiletries for sure, including moisturiser (my skin felt so dry)
At least one change of clothes for you
Slippers / flip flops
Some form of light entertainment, book etc
Phone charger
I'd pack an extra feeding bra too just in case your milk comes in rapid and leaks though the pads

Also consider having a 2nd bag packed for yourself that you can leave in the boot in case you end up staying in hospital. I was caught short as only packed for 1 night and so DH to ask my mum to go home and grab me more stuff (bit awkward as I know what I keep in my underwear drawer!) as he didnt want to leave me and DS

Certainly get your birthing partner (if you have one) to pack a bag too! my DH wishes he packed himself more entertainment as labour was very slow and long. Also he really needed some clothes to change into after I threw up all over him (oops!)

Sounds like you have most of the essentials. I would add ear plugs if you are not going to a private hospital (the shared ward after delivery can be very noisy).

Also, maybe check the size of the hat for the baby if bubba might be big, the newborn size was too small for my DS1.

You would need a towel for the baby if having a water birth though wouldn't you?
