Sacroiliac pain, osteopath and belts

Hi, in the last ten days or so I've developed excruciating pain in my lower back/right bum cheek. I had an osteopath appointment yesterday and he diagnosed a strain in the ligaments connecting the sacroiliac joint on the right side, he said my pelvis is unstable and there won't be much further benefit from osteopathy until after birth, I've got six weeks to go! He did palpations and manipulations but it made no difference. It's like a knife pain when I'm walking, I'm basically shuffling and stairs are agony, I can barely make it to the bathroom. He suggested a sacroiliac support belt but didn't sell maternity suitable ones. Does anyone have any recommendations for belts or other things that helped? I feel trapped at home, luckily I'm working from home the next few weeks anyway but DH going to the supermarket yesterday made me sad and I usually hate doing the grocery shopping I just couldn't make it round Tesco at the moment.

I can really recommend the serola belt, it's pricey but it works.

I also found acupuncture very helpful.
