Hello everyone
My wife has her first mid wife appointment. We also have a 6 year old who cant go to school on that day and I also have to be in office.
Does any body know whether it is ok to take your child to first midwife appointment.
Many thanks.

It's fine but it's an hour long appointment with lots of boring paperwork. I'd take a colouring book or whatever 6yo enjoy.
My midwife was upset I didn't being my son as she was looking forward to seeing him again as she did all my appointments and aftercare when I had him last year!

Totally fine as PP has said. But take some entertainment for your little one! My 2yo has been to all of mine, including a few scans due to childcare issues and the staff have always been quite pleased to see a little one Smile
