The make Medula is the best by far, I think I tried the majority of brands and this one was far the most efficient. It's a bit noisy though, I expressed when I went back to work and it was a bit embarrassing even though I was in a private room!

I hired mine from somewhere - LLL I think?

Hi there, i found the Medela Swing really good and quiet and was pretty efficient. I did have the Medela Mini Electric but my dd2 dropped it and killed it, it was good but much noisier. HTH

Has anyone hired one? I heard that is possible but not sure where from?

Yes I hired one from LLL, with DD2 really easy, they delivered and collected as far as I remember.

You can also hire them from the NCT, and you can follow the links through from the website to find a local breastpump agent.

if you plan to pump long term it works out much cheaper to buy one. maybe look on ebay for a second hand pump and you can also buy new attachment parts.
