Worried...taken throat sweets

I have a horrific cough and sore throat so took two throat sweets, honey and menthol hard ones that numbed my throat. Then someone told me I shouldn't have, anyone else done similar. Having miscarried earlier this year I'm worrying.

I suspect that the amount you would need to take to cause even a risk of harm is waaaaay more than you have. Hopefully someone can come along and give more specific advice but it really really is only tiny amount of anything medical in there

Google says absolutely fine after 12 weeks and no real evidence before then.

And to gargle salt water with a bit of turmeric in instead

It would never have crossed my mind to give this a second thought. I'm sure there's nothing in them that would be harmful to baby.

2 throat sweets are absolutely not going to harm your baby. Try and relax and not worry about it.

The pharmacist told me that throat sweets are safe.

Thanks everyone. That's made me feel a little better. I'm only 11+4 so a little more anxious than if I was further along but due to my missed miscarriage we had a scan at 8 and 10 weeks and little one was kicking away at 10weeks.
I know I'm probably worrying unnecessarily but you know what it's like when hormones are everywhere and feeling like rubbish 😩
