So long post but I've had 3 mcs in the past and I have 1 little boy. I have struggled to conceive last 3 year's and I was shocked go find out I was with this one. Today I went for a early private scan to see how things were after having cramps and some funny discharge and symptoms haven't seemed as strong lately. So I went and now really worried as she couldn't see heartbeat only a sac and nothing else I thought I was 7 weeks 4 days but she seems to think I am earlier and too early to see anything and I need to go back 2 weeks. She said sac was very good clear and hadnt broken away or looked like a miscarriage but now I'm worried about a blighted ovum and wanted to know if anyone else as had good endings with something like this ???

When I was pregnant with DD I hadn't had a period for 3 months but as I suffered with PCOS I didn't think any thing of it. When I found out I was pregnant I assumed the missing periods were down to that so we booked in for a 12 week scan.

When I got there all they could see was a sac, no heartbeat or baby. Turns out I wasn't as far along as I had assumed.
Two weeks later when I returned the heartbeat was strong and DD is alive and well.

Thank you I really hope I just got my dates mixed up but I'm pretty much sure my dates are right or only out by a couple of days so just don't know what to think. The lady who did it didn't seem over concerned just said I was too early xx

I had a scan at the EPU and they just found a sac but couldn’t see anything else at all... 2 weeks later I went back nervous as hell and expecting bad news but was 8 weeks with the embryo tripled in size! And a very strong heartbeat they couldn’t believe to go from nothing 2 weeks before and practically a black screen to a massive peanut! Try not panic and good luck xxx

Thank you that reassures me that something positive can come out of it! I really hope I'm the same too. Fingers crossed ! Xx
