Hi dear mums, I'm about to have my first child at age 35 via elective c-section due to medical reasons. I'm very scared and trying to find the safest option for my baby and myself. Please share your experiences in both Portland and Fitzrovia suite. Do anyone know how much an anesthetist costs in UCLH Fitzrovia suite? no insurance every penny counts! Thank you ladies in advance!

no experience of either but on the UCLH Fitzrovia website they have a fees section. Seems they do all inclusive package for c-section at £8750 www.uclh.nhs.uk/ourservices/servicea-z/wh/mat2/givingbirth/FITZROVIA/Pages/Home.aspx

sorry just noticed they say anesthetist fees are extra. You'll probably get a very straightforward answer if you call them up and ask.
