Feeling really run down the last 24hours, very tired, which I expect given how many weeks I am. For the last 12 hours I've had such bad heartburn and reflux that I've been unable to sleep or be in any position other than upright as I feel so sick.

Not sure if this a normal thing in late pregnancy due to lack of space or something to get checked out? Possible symptom of something to worry about? Has anyone else had this before?

I guess the lack of sleep is prep for baby but I'd much rather try and get some rest before their arrival!

TIA!

It’s normal sadly! Go to Doc and get a prescription for Gaviscon, I never went anywhere without my big bottle of gaviscon when I was pg.

It sucks. 100%, and sleeping on pillows so you’re slightly raised does help

You might be able to take omeprazole- that is a brilliant way to stop the acid, not sure if you can take it while PG tho.

Good luck! ((((Hug))))

You can definitely take omeprazole while pregnant. Nothing else cut it for me with the my first, but that was a wonder drug.

Don’t suffer! Just call the GP for a prescription.

Thanks! That's a relief that I can do something about it, I never had it first time around!
