Hi, I’m 38 weeks today and just ate a lovely fish pie I made this evening and within an hour I came across all funny and had to run to the loo, had really bad diaoherrea Confused the inlaws also had fish pie and they ate fine. I had read online that this can be a sign that labour is on the way, has anyone else had this? Or could it just be that the pie didnt agree with me?

I did! Woke up around 4am and went several times. Contractions began later. Think it’s the body’s way of clearing your system sometimes.

I was 39 weeks exactly. Labour started properly later the same day. He only actually arrived the following lunchtime though, long labour. How are you doing? Any progression or was it a dodgy pie?? 😀

Yup. Pack your bag!

ThirdChildFourthPile · 26/10/2018 16:13

Yup was a sign for me.

It didn't stop throughout labour either.

It didn't stop during the pushing stage. 😭😭😭😭

It was sign for me but lasted for a few weeks before baby finally arrived at 41+1. Hope its more imminent for you!

I had this too at 38 weeks. Didn't pop till 40 weeks though. Sorry!
