Shivering and haemorrhoids and general worry!

So i found out I’m 4+4. Yesterday I had a burst haemorrhoid and blood everywhere. I literally could not tell where it was coming from which upset me and kept me up at night. The worrying thing though is that I was FREEZING cold. The house was heated to the max and I was shivering violently and teeth chattering, the lot, for over an hour. It was hell. Today for the first time, I have no appetite, my head hurts, and my lower back too. Been to the doctors and they say I don’t have an UTI so can’t explain the shivering but I am convinced something is going very wrong and I miscarried. What do you guys think? Did something like this happen to anyone here before?

What's your body temperature?

worriedaf · 25/10/2018 13:38

Don’t know as I don’t have a reliable thermometer (don’t know where it is anyway) but the gp said both my temperature and my blood pressure were fine. The blood pressure was 113-71 but I didn’t look at the temperature. I am feeling really poorly now, been in bed for the past few hours and my head hurts and I feel like I can’t have anything to eat. I’m really worried.

It might be time to call NHS 111. They should be able to advise you

I did last night when I couldn’t stop shivering, they told me to go see the GP today which I did. She didn’t seem to be that concerned and only got some blood out and said I’ll need to get another blood test next week to compare the two and see if the hormone is going up or down. My head really hurts and I’m so scared.

I know this sounds weird but when I am very scared and/or anxious I shake and shiver almost uncontrollably. It is the stress and adrenaline. Could this be the case here? I can imagine it would be really scary if there was a lot of blood.

However I agree that 111 might be a good idea if you’re still feeling very unwell. Hope you are ok.

That’s what my mum said, she says it could have been a panic attack. I am feeling much better today, I just woke up and there’s still a bit of blood but I’m not feeling as horrible. I am very clammy but I think I was just hot during the night. Will try and stomach some food today. Thank you for the advice xx
