Transverse babies

Hi all, I was hoping for a VBAC but baby has been transverse for a couple of weeks now (34 weeks). I’d be really grateful if people could share their transverse experiences. Mostly I’m wondering how late a baby is likely to turn head down? How many weeks the hospital let you go to? And if anyone was recommended to be admitted before labour started? Thanks so much

My second child had his head in my hip, it didn't change and had a section at 40 weeks

My first was similar but not so bad, she was barely engaged when my waters broke and induction failed as she wasn't pushing from her direction. Basically all rubbish! But it's fine I had two babies via sections Wink

Thanks flumpybear 😃 they thought this ones head might be in my hip too today! On the scan last week though, they were ‘very’ transverse. Did they ever talk about admitting you to hospital?

No but inthink perhaps my babies weren't quite as problematic Wink they could have moved 'south' albeit now they're older of course I know They'd never do as they're told Grin
