What aftercare is planned in for you?

Do you have a temperature?

Sorry for your loss Flowers

Lilbear14 · 24/10/2018 21:26

I'm sorry for your loss.
It sounds like you went through a lot in such a short space of time. Your body will be exhausted.
However, if you have a temperature or fever like symptoms it could possibly be a sign of infection and I would seek some medical advice.

You could have an infection. What’s your temperature? If it’s raised I’d contact A&E/ your aftercare team (if you have one)

Haven't got a temperature if anyone I'm the opposite and absolutely freezing, I've got a follow up scan on Monday and I've to get in and see my gp for contraception as we've already got a 5 month old son (please don't judge we didn't know we fell pregnant again)

We're not going to judge, with your temp dropping you should contact your aftercare or A&E especially because you lost a lot of blood.
It's better to be safe than sorry, they will understand your concerns

LatteLover12 · 24/10/2018 22:16

No judgment at all from me.

Can you take your temperature? I think if you’re freezing cold you should get some medical advice - either over the phone tonight or with GP/walk in tomorrow. When I had a loss I was able to phone the ward id been on for advice. Is that an option?

Hope you feel better soon.

So sorry for your loss.

How much blood did you lose? Could it possibly have been enough to cause anaemia? I felt just like you do after having my daughter and I'd had a post partum haemorrhage

Cakeandcustard2018 · 24/10/2018 23:01

Thank you imnotaslimjim I am not sure as to how much blood I lost, I was pretty out of it the whole time as I was hemorrhaging as well as clotting I just know that when in A&E I had 5 blankets over me and was trembling with shivers due to being so cold and in shock
