Just a mattress and sheet and a load of leaflets. Perhaps a couple of samples. Nothing like the Scottish one.

We got the box, a mattress, fitted sheet for the mattress, blanket, vest and some leaflets.

I got mine last week from Baby Box University. You watch an hour or so of short videos, and then answer some questions. It's free if you collect, but I paid £8 for postage to my address.

I got a cute box, mattress, fitted sheet, newborn nappies, and some free samples of nipple cream.

Was I the only one who was surprised the box had no lid? I can't imagine ever needing one, but... :)

I'm in scotland and got my baby box last week, fantastic lots of lovely bits digital thermometer, room/bath thermometer some little toys baby books, vest hat mitts baby grow ect activity mat and a good quality mattress on the bottom and even some sheets for it! Perfect for someone especially that doesnt have a lot, i almost feel guilty for having mines but i suppose its so all babys have an equal start

My midwife told me the boxes don't have a lid because someone put their baby inside with the lid on.. so they had to stop making the lids.

Not claimed mine - I'm a bit sceptical of freebies like this and am concerned it's just another data harvesting exercise like Bounty. I'm pretty sure the baby will be in a cot or carrycot anyway, the only creature likely to inhabit a box is the cat.

I got mine a couple of weeks ago
It was the box, two sachets of stuff, leaflets, sheet, matress, lidl nappies and wipes

Mine from baby box co had a mattress , sheet, and sample of Lidl nappies and wipes. Also a £5 off Lidl voucher. I'm quite impressed with it and plan to use for the baby to sleep in downstairs so I don't have to move the Moses basket up and downstairs.

Just wondering if anyone has received one recently and if it's still the same?
Thanks

I got mine last month, it's the box, lid (although my friend didnt get a lid?), mattress, sheet, nappies, wipes, sample of cream and a neutral baby gro. Paid about £10 (postage, but this seems to vary depending on location and month, the first time I looked in may it was close to £20 so I left it a few months and it went down).
We'll be using ours as babys nap place for downstairs, and the lids super handy at the moment cos I'm using it to store the clothes/muslins/soft toys Ive already got until the nursery is ready x

I did the baby box university one a couple of months ago and went for the baby bag option (so not the box) was sent a bag that literally had a small pack of Lidl nappies and wipes in it, and a stack of vouchers for stuff you can find elsewhere eg Hello Fresh. Their bag was meant to have a baby gift according to their website but nothing in the bag! The postage was over a fiver and I could have got the nappies and wipes for less than half of that in Lidl. Total rip off.
