Is this normal in a early pregnancy?

I've been having brown discharge for the past 7 days and I'm 9weeks 3days. It's slightly pink and occasionally has blood clots but just small ones. It only shows up a bit on a pad but when wiping, it shows a lot. Is this normal?

I had something similar with both mine and all was ok. But I did go to the dr and get referred to the early pregnancy unit to get checked out. Maybe call the gp or midwife just to be safe xxx

@Drivenmad80 thank you for responding. I am young and confused being that this is my first pregnancy. I am planning on going to the hospital this week and will mention it to them

Good luck and I hope everything goes well for you. I was 30 when I had my first and I was permanently confused and worried! Do you have a midwife yet? They are used helping and being asked for advice so if you're worried don't be afraid to ask xx

@pri123 I’ve had both good and bad outcomes with this sort of thing. Please go and get it checked, your midwife/GP should refer you for an ultrasound.
