OK so tomorrow I have my first scan, I found out late I was expecting so will be between 17 and 20 weeks. I've been feeling baby move for around 3 weeks now but the last few days nothing!

I saw the midwife last Tuesday and she found baby's heartbeat but haven't really felt any movement since, earlier when laying down I had a kind of heavy feeling in the bottom of my bump but that's it. Bump doesn't feel as hard today either.

Last couple of days I've tried alsorts to get baby to move and nothing is working, I'm really starting to panic that something is wrong. Someone please tell me this sounds normal

It might be nothing, but if you're worried, call the midwife. Call now if you want to. Don't wait.

They say if you have reduced movements in 24 to call them straight away. You should give them a call and get them to check you out.
With my first I didn't feel movement for 12 hours morning to evening and they had me in straight away for a check.

You’re very early to still feel movement every single day. The movement monitoring tends to be from 24 weeks. You have your scan tomorrow so not long to wait to get that reassurance xxx good luck

With my first pregnancy I didn't have movement for about 6 hours and I was a wreck! I was 19 weeks and they took me in for a scan straight away, it was about 8.30 at night. Call them xx

Hi @Singlemummyto5 this must be really scary for you, have you felt anything today? How has your scan gone? sending love Flowers

Hi guys so had scan today and baby is perfect, I have an anteria placenta which they said is the reason I'm not feeling movements as much. Thank you so much for all the reassurance I really appreciate it xx
