Leaky boobs!

Morning all!

So didn't realise leaky boobs were a thing already? I'm 28 weeks and woke up in the middle of the night for one of many midnight pees and my right arm was so sticky! Had a panic thinking I was bleeding (how I don't know!) and turned on the light to realise my right boob has leaked and made my arm sticky!!! Lol. What is the leaking stuff? Surely it can't be the milk already can it? And how often should I expect it to happen? The middle of the day as well?

Any advice from other fellow leaky boobers would be extremely helpful 😊😊😊

I had leaky boobs when I first found out I was of with dd1. My nipples were leaking, and I did a pg test, and ta dah I was pg.

Get yourself some pads. I liked the Lansinoh and Tommee Tippee ones the best, but that was 9 years ago.

I leaked early with both of mine. It's colostrum. From 36 weeks I collected mine in syringes and froze them. They came in very handy before my milk came in.

DIL is having this at the moment, at 28 weeks. I'd never heard of it but apparently it's quite usual. She's thrilled, as well as a bit sticky.

Yep. Colostrum! Gave me a fright too  but made it so exciting!
