It's not that I particularly want a boy, it's that's what I thought I saw.

I meant that I'm not "looking" for boy bits.

But if I'm entirely honest a boy wouldn't be my first choice.

Obviously I'll love any child we have.

How many weeks are you? Can you have a private scan yet? I found out at 16 weeks that DS was a boy

Ta, tomorrow I'm 22 weeks.

Just don't know what I'd do with a boy (practicalities eg I've never changed a boy'r nappy in my life!
And
Child rearing approach eg how to raise a strong/confident young man in the current social climate)

Dh present at scan, and he didn't want to find out, I respect that.

I have no idea, but honestly, boys are fantastic. I have an amazing one, and another on the way. I had never changed a nappy full stop before I had ds and I managed.
If this is a boy, you will change your mind about your preference the minute he is born, I promise you.

I also think a boy looks just like one of my twins at about 23 weeks! Congratulations either way though. Do you have any other children? Might be fun for them to guess with you!
