Successful membrane stripping, symptoms?..

How many ladies had all the symptoms after stripping membranes such as cramping, contractions & bleeding and nothing came of it? Or any successful stripping with none of these symptoms?

I have read a bunch of post saying nothing came of it & no symptoms but what about the ladies who did have ALL the symptoms? I would love any stories you are willing to share. I had mine stripped and stretched today & feel all the mentioned symptoms above also she showed that I bleed during the process. I’m hoping to get some progress otherwise I am scheduled for an induction Monday if all fails.

Just bumping your thread as I'm also intrigued. I'm booked in for a sweep this Friday when I'll be 39 weeks. How far along are you?

I had 4 sweeps with both mine and nothing worked. Tbh I don't think they ever work. I think when they do it's because baby was due anyway. Like if your 41 weeks you're likely to go into labour anyway.

I was offered one at 40+2 but refused. By 40+5 I happily let my midwife do it. She had short fingers and said she couldn't reach very well but felt baby's head and I was 1cm. I very slightly crampy after then nothing. 24hrs later contractions started for me. I was nervous for induction and fed up so gave it a go.
