Sat here on the sofa watching tv and I've just felt a sensation in my tummy. Felt like something was flipping in my belly lol.
I'm 15 weeks tomorrow, is it too early to feel baby?xx

I was about 16 weeks when I started feeling flutters with my first pregnancy so at 15 weeks it could well be baby Smile

I'm 7 weeks with my second and can't wait to feel this one moving too!

curlyrebel · 22/10/2018 17:54

Nope! My first one I felt it at 16 weeks. It's lovely isn't it? More to come...

Ohnonotanotherusername · 22/10/2018 18:10

I started feeling it at about 15+5, exactly like you describe like a flipping feeling. Sort of like when you go over a dip in the road in the car and your stomach flips over.

twoheaped · 22/10/2018 18:11

24 weeks with first, 10 weeks with second.

18 weeks both times, but more flutters with DC1 and proper little prods/kicks with DC2. Think maybe because with DC1 I had an anterior placenta.

Awww that's amazing!! @GlamourBear @curlyrebel @Ohnonotanotherusername
I'm so happy you guys were around the same amount of weeks as me when you felt baby 😍 I've looked online and everywhere says like 24 weeks or more.
It's all starting to feel real now, I'm so excited to start feeling more kicks and moves.
Finding out what we are having next Tuesday 😊 exciting times ahead!

I felt mine at 15 weeks.

I'm 16+6 currently and have been feeling little nudges for about a week! I explained what I'd felt to the midwife at my 16 week appointment and she said it was definitely baby Smile

It's not constant, but a lovely reminder that he/she is in there!

captainshortie · 24/10/2018 12:14

I love feeling my little one! Right fidgety bugger she is! I felt her at 22/23 weeks, but im plus size with an anterior placenta so was told it would take longer anyway.
Like muscle twitches and got a definate thump the other night!

harrietm87 · 24/10/2018 12:18

17 weeks for me when I was certain, but then I realised I’d probs felt it for about a week before that without knowing that’s what it was.

Iswallowtoothpaste · 24/10/2018 16:21

I’m sure I started feeling movements at 15-16 weeks with DD and she was my first baby. They reckon that a lot of movements are masked by day to day activity early on but most people having their firs baby feel first movements between 18-22 weeks.

CobaltRose96 · 24/10/2018 16:24

I'm 20+4 and started feeling flutters about a week ago. I've got an anterior placenta, though.

universe00 · 24/10/2018 17:23

First baby I felt a flutter around 17 weeks and a kick around 19 weeks
Second baby I felt nothing till 22 weeks
