As I’m sure we’ve all discovered the instore ranges of maternity clothes is shocking so I need to order some bits offline. I’m just wondering who does the best maternity leggings? There is nothing worse than leggings that go baggy at the knees or see through when you move and as I can’t try them on before buying I’d rather order some that come with a good recommendation.

Ooo following as the ones I bought recently I can see my pants through .. they were mama-lishious ones

WeSaluteYou · 22/10/2018 16:14

Depends what you’re looking for but if you want some you can wear on their own then there is nothing better than Isabella Oliver treggings in my experience. Very very thick and last an age

Milesy351 · 22/10/2018 16:18

I’ve found ASOS are the best and they do a 2 pack Smile affordable too!

TruffleShuffles · 22/10/2018 16:20

I probably wouldn’t wear them as a pair of trousers but I still want to be able to wear them with a long top and not expose everything if I bend over.

I’ve found JoJo Maman Bebe to be the best I’ve tried so far in terms of being the least transparent. George at Asda are OK but less thick - Next ones aren’t great imo.

Second vote for jojo maman ones. They do two types, I have the supersoft ones which I love (£22 but they do a £16 pair as well which I haven't tried but they have good reviews online) I tried some awful ones from mamalicious which were a horrible shiny swimsuit material and very see through

Skylucy · 22/10/2018 16:50

New Look! I'm 39 weeks into pregnancy #2 with them and they've lasted brilliantly! Over the bump and not thin in the slightest.

hammeringinmyhead · 22/10/2018 17:01

I've found you get what you pay for. Annoyingly the absolute best I found were ASOS which were £12 but they have discontinued them and the £8 ones are much thinner. I'd try Emma Jane from ASOS here - they are worth investing in. I'm 37 weeks and the thought of putting on maternity denim at this point makes me want to cry!

WinkysTeatowel · 22/10/2018 17:14

I've had a few pairs of the H&M ones which have been good. Not see through although they did develop some holes after repeated washing eventually, they are cheap as chips though so not too painful to replace.

Babyboymama · 22/10/2018 18:42

I can’t recommend Asda enough! They come in 2 packs and are nice and thick. Also don’t wrinkle at the knees.

TheArtfulScreamer · 22/10/2018 18:42

I've a pair from Very not to expensive and seem to be doing the job.

Another vote for ASDA. Really soft, good value and nice fit.

Hopeislost · 22/10/2018 22:24

M&S! They're £9.50, thick, soft and come in 3 different lengths.

Celebelly · 22/10/2018 22:24

Asda leggings are great quality and very reasonably priced. They're far better than some of the more expensive ones I've ordered from other places!

Celebelly · 22/10/2018 22:26

Also beware if you order from JoJo Maman Bebe Online. My latest order took three weeks to arrive even though everything was in stock, and a quick look at their FB page suggests they are having huge problems fulfilling orders in a timely manner. I emailed and got no response and was about to try to get my money back when they finally got dispatched.

Bobbielee91 · 23/10/2018 00:05

New Look - 2 pack for about £15. I’ve had mine for about 3-4 months now and they’re still in good condition and comfortable Smile

Eeeeek2 · 23/10/2018 00:07

Like my ASDA ones £12 for 2 in navy. Got the grey/black ones and the grey are good to but the black are too thin.

Oysterbabe · 23/10/2018 07:40

I've got lots of different ones. My favourite are from Seraphine.

Merrz · 23/10/2018 08:16

ASDA has totally got my vote for all maternity clothes, got some work trousers from there too and really well priced.

WhoAteAllTheDinosaurs · 23/10/2018 08:22

Next ones were rubbish. Developed holes after 3 wears and quite see through. Asda ones are better.

Lauren83 · 23/10/2018 08:39

H&M were best for me

Valkarie · 23/10/2018 09:20

I find over bump maternity wear too uncomfortable as my skin is so sensitive. Seraphine under bump leggings were brilliant. Aside from that I just bought cheap non maternity leggings as the thinner fabric stretches better and folded them down a bit.
