So yesterday while doing a car boots sale I had my first fainting episode! I'm 20 weeks and it was very scary! my body temperature shot through the roof and before I knew it I was on the floor! luckily enough I slid down the car so didn't hurt myself! Anyone else experienced or experiencing this? I hope it doesn't happen again!

I’ve not experienced this during pregnancy but I am anaemia so I have regular blood tests. I’ve had to have a few iron infusions to stop me feeling faint and passing out. Make sure you tell your midwife and maybe get your iron levels checked out

I've got to be reaaaaaaaaally careful with how quickly I get up or I nearly pass out - I found that Floradix tablets seemed to help a lot with this. My blood tests show I'm not anemic but for some reason the iron still helped!

Blood pressure drops most in the second trimester - my systolic is only 80! So I have to be really careful as I get dizzy and my heart races when I stand up/get up/ stand for too long!
