No colostrum before birth?

Baby centre, MN, bounty apps are telling me I should be dripping with colostrum and sleeping with breast pads in at 33-35 weeks but I haven't a drop! Had some dried sort of flakes I could pull from my nipple earlier but now nothing. Tried to squeeze and still nothing comes out. Does this mean I'll have trouble BF?

I never had any either. Managed to bf many dc for about 8 months each. One pregnancy my breasts didn't change at all until the last few weeks!!

2 DC I didn't breastfeed and had loads of colostrum during late pregnancy.
2 DC I did breastfeed, I had none until birth. No idea why!

I didn’t have any before either of my DCs and they managed to breast feed fine Smile

I’ve breastfed 2 babies and never had colostrum before birth. Didn’t know I was supposed to TBH!

I also have had no leakage and I’m 37 weeks 4 days, I did have a bath this morning though and noticed some crusty bits on my nipple which I picked off so not sure if some has come out and dried on without me noticing. I was wondering how the milk comes out and if they just put baby on when born and then when they latch it just comes?

Pickles31 I just put mine to my breast and they suckled. The suckling stimulates production.
