6 weeks pregnant and my belly is huge

I have always had a very slender figure size 6/8, I am 6 weeks pregnant on Tuesday but my belly is so swollen, this is my third baby and the youngest is 20 months.. I know it's not a 'bump' but it's almost hard to hide already! And very uncomfortable, is this goin to settle and when?

Hey mine settled for about a week around 7 weeks then I ballooned out again. I'm 8 weeks now and my belly is starting to stick out and is hard too. I'm not sure if it's just me being paranoid though as I've not told anyone.

I do think if people probably wouldn't even notice but I'm conscious of it and it's just bloody uncomfortable

I'm really uncomfortable. This is my third also and I feel like I'm 20 weeks gone sometimes.
They do say you show earlier each pregnancy though.

Twins....?

This is my 2nd and so bloated until 11 weeks roughly but then actual bump appeared week 15. You don't get much of a break!

@OlennasWimple twins run in my family, it would be bloody typical u decide to have one more and end up with two

OP only non identical twins are hereditary only run down the female line.

We have a mixture of both running down the female line, I don't believe it to be twins tho, symptoms haven't been too strong bar the tiredness and bloating..

I didn't really have any symptoms with my twins..... 😁😂🤣😶🙄🤔

I've been saying twins about mine we have non identical down the female side.

We laughed and said it would be our luck but I said atleast it would definitely be the last pregnancy 😂

Il guess il find out in 6 weeks 🤦‍♀️ might have to pay for an early one, I will if my belly doesn't ease up a bit after another week or so

Bloating!! I looked about 20 weeks pregnant at 6 weeks. It’s settled down a lot more now. But gosh, I have been so bloated this time round.
Wear baggy tops! And avoid gassy foods!

I was bloated straight away, it never went it just went more solid as it has slowly turned in to a bump that's just started! (15 weeks).

Me too. First one but I'm super bloated and have some water retention. Not my best look.

Mine did - and yes it was twins

You can take out insurance if you haven't had a scan - worth a look

I had 0 symptoms and a belly at 6 weeks with my twins - I was on holiday with my parents and text DH saying I'm either going mad or having twins because I actually have a tiny bump at just 6 weeks..

Our twin boys are now 2

I had no symptoms / sickness etc and it was triplets  I was in maternity clothes at 8 weeks!

Oh god ladies 😂 this isn't what I wanted to hear, I wanted to be told 'oh it's just some initial swelling and it'll go down and ul have ur flat tum back for at least a few more weeks' 😂😂 silly me.. my DD I didn't show show til about 20 weeks and stayed pretty tiny

Haha don't worry OP it could be a number of things! By 20 weeks I was measuring 35 weeks with my twins

I'm a size 8 and didn't fit in my clothes from the day of my bfp! In fact that's how I knew I was pregnant - I was so bloated I looked it - tested 2 days before AF and positive. To be fair it was ivf so that may have effected things - but made it bloody hard to hide!
