Sudden Sharp Pains

Hi everyone, I'm between 11 and 12 weeks, depending on if you're going by NHS or private scan dates...today my husband and I have been doing some tidying and sorting and I've probably done a bit more than I should in terms of seriously de-cluttering. I started getting some sharp pains right right down there so I went to lie down. About 5 minutes later I couldn't move the pain was so bad, I tried lying in different positions, I needed help standing. I went to the toilet to see if it would help but nothing. It's horrific pain. Do you think it could be bad news or I just did too much and need to rest? I have a very active job in an extremely busy nursery so I'm normally a pretty busy person and hardly sit still, and this kind of activity isn't out of the ordinary so I'm not sure why it randomly started?

I had this a few days ago (13+6) and it turned out to be trapped wind!
It felt awful. I was crying. I can usually cope with pain well and I can't remember getting it with DD1.

If it's worrying you contact your midwife? Have you had your scan yet?

@yesmelord I remember a friend being pregnant and telling me she had trapped wind pains that had her doubled over! So I did think it could be that! But I've never had trapped wind so don't know how that feels haha 🙈

I also never had these pains when i was pregnant with my son. I have my scan on Thursday so not too long a wait. It's come on quite suddenly so will see how quickly it goes but if it's still uncomfortable all through the night I might give them a call tomorrow.

Thanks for replying xx
