I know there is no normal, no right and no wrong but as I've a thousand thoughts flying around my head, i wanted to put it out there to you wonderful girls and see what you say...

When did you start to get a baby belly?
When did you move on to leggings or maternity wear?
When did you, if at all, use a pregnancy pillow? And if so, which one did you use?

My bump started developing properly at around 22 weeks ish? I was a size 16 pre pregnancy so it took a while to check it wasn’t just fat 😂

I caved in early with maternity wear and started at about 12 weeks. I needed comfort and I figured I’d get more use out of it this way.

I’ve had a pregnancy pillow since around 20 weeks. I have the dreamgenii. It’s comfy, but I fidget in the night, so I only usually use it for a few hours (until I inevitably get up from the loo) at which point I get back into bed without it for the rest of the night.

Hope this helps :)

Also a size 16 pre-pregnancy but dropped a dress size with sickness 🙄 bump started to show about midway. I mostly didn't need maternity wear bar leggings towards the 3rd trimester and a couple of dresses, otherwise I wore my normal clothes but I gave birth in September so at my biggest it was summer and dresses are more accommodating in my wardrobe

I used 2 pillows early on due to pretty bad SPD. One was the dreamgenii or whatever it is and I actively advise people NOT to buy that POS. It was useless. I had a bump wedge which wasn't bad and an orthopaedic foam for between my knees which was a life saver for the hips. If I had the money and was pregnant again I'd splurge on the BBhugMe or whatever it is. It looks dreamy.

Hiya, I’m 22 weeks and my bump has only come on recently.I was size 14 before although I lost weight 1st trip due to sickness. People I see everyday think I’m showing but I don’t really look pregnant even now, just a bit thicker in the middle. I got mat jeans, leggings and work trousers at 17 weeks as waistbands we’re getting tight. They were a little bit big at first but fitting now. Only just feeling the benefits of maternity tops now - regular tops were getting too short in the body. I’m had a pillow since week 13 as I wanted to get used to sleeping inside - I got the one from JoJo Bebe maman as it can be used as a feeding pillow, baby nest and toddler bean bag later on. Only wish it came with interchangable cover!

Oh I should also say I have a very high front facing placenta so I feel like my ‘bump’ starts under my pond and just drops off! Pal at work never bought a single mat item as was wearing her regular clothes (incl size 8 top) day she delivered. Ps I found H&M mat clothes good

I have a pillow between my knees but i still ache at my hips. So i Need something better. Sleeping is already uncomfortable besides the fact I'm up every couple of hours for the looi just struggle being comfy.

I'm 11wks but already have a bump... Size 16 before, I've always had a waist line and relatively flat tummy but suddenly not anymore. i can't wear my jeans and am basically in leggings (as long as they're a side 18!!) with baggy jumpers or tops! I have a tilted uterus which is potentially making me pop sooner because it's leaning forwards anyway! I'm tempted to go for the whole maternity clothing thing, full hog... I've been gifted some items but have held off thinking no no no I'm to early i can't ... but i simply may have to for my own sanity and comfort!!!!

I'm looking into cushions for night time, I'm also a big fidget though tossing and turning all night which is normal for me but it's exaggerated now with baby on the way. I just wondered how it might work with being a fidget lol xx
