Jesus Christ! Toilet paper manufacturers! Red bits!

So, after buying Tesco’s own brand ‘luxury soft white’ toilet paper tissue for the first time since being pregnant, I’ve nearly had heart failure this afternoon!

Wiping and seeing red/brown/pink spots on the toilet paper is not and I repeat NOT good for an already anxious, crazy, emotionally unstable pregnant woman!

On further inspection, the ‘spotting’ was just different bits of different coloured fibres in the toilet paper.

Think I’ll be buying a more expensive brand just so that I don’t shit myself every one I go to the loo.

When pregnant I was very careful on what blog roll I brought. I only got own brands I knew already were soft.

Also made me chuckle and reminded me of the time I bought new red undies and had an absolute heart attack when I wiped and saw red. It was fibres from the knickers 😂

So pleased it isn’t just me bein paranoid haha!

It's worse than forgetting you've eaten beetroot and momentarily freaked out when you've seen the red toilet bowl. 😳

Haha the exact same thing happened to me several times in early pregnancy! Either that or pink fibres from my underwear! I think I actually cried to my DH a few times (all boundaries well and truly gone, he's heard far too much detail). I hope these stressful weeks of early pregnancy go quickly for you. I'm now toilet paper checking for signs of plug (slightly too early yet at 34 weeks!).

Haha yes! Quite a few times earlier on in my pregnancy I almost had a heart attack from red fibres or bits of fluff from my underwear on the toilet paper!

Watch out for Christmas-themed loo roll!

Similar to when I’d bought a new pair of black trousers to wear on my works Xmas party. Went to the loo and pulled my trousers down to see my legs a strange shade of blue/black. In m drunken state I thought maybe I was having some sort of cardiac event and I nearly keeled over in panic.
Then I realised it was the dye from the trousers. Never sobered up so quick!

My usual brand of pantyliners has a (stupid, floral) light pink pattern on it. It keeps giving me a fright - I think I'm going to have to buy a different brand!

Worst for me was when my partner had a nose bleed early one morning before work - he put all the blood soaked tissues in the toilet but was in such a rush he forget to flush it. Nearly gave me a heart attack when I got up for a wee a bit later and happened to glance down at a toilet bowl full of bright red blood and thought it had come from me! Thankfully he’d had one the day before so I figured it out before I had a total meltdown.
